Settings
Manage your display name and anonymity, country and language, email, and password.
Settings has two sections in its side menu: Profile and Account.
Settings → Profile
Here you manage how you appear and a few personal details:
- Personal data — your title before and after your name, Name and Surname, Date of Birth (optional), and your Country.
- Experience — your professions (you can select several, plus an "Other" free-text option) and your Experience years.
- Interface language — note that your interface language is chosen from the global language switcher (the flag menu in the header), not on this screen.
Display name in case reports
The "Display name in case reports" option controls whether your name appears on the cases you publish.
- On — your real name is shown as the author on case reports you publish.
- Off — your case reports are published anonymously, with no name attached.
This option is off by default, so unless you turn it on, your published cases appear anonymously. It affects only authorship on case reports; it does not change anything else about your account.
Settings → Account
The Account section lets you manage your sign-in details:
- Email — your account email address.
- Change password — enter your current password and a new one. For your security, the new password must differ from the current one, and the change only goes through if your current password is correct.
The AI solution "lenses" — proactive, reactive, SEL, PBIS, restorative practices, and nonviolent communication — are chosen by the system per case based on what fits the situation, not toggles you set here. See AI solutions for how they appear on a case.
Account deletion is handled on request rather than as a self-service button. To delete your account and data, contact the Edustories project as described in the Terms of Use.
