AI-recommended solutions

Understand the AI-generated solution approaches on each case, what every suggestion contains, and how to rate them.

Not verified yet

Every case report includes an "AI-powered solution designing" section: a set of suggested approaches the AI drafts for the situation described. They give you practical, concrete ideas you can adapt to your own classroom.

The approaches (lenses)

The AI looks at each case through several well-established lenses and presents them as tabs. Only the approaches it generated for a given case appear:

  • Proactive — prevention-focused: steps to set the student up for success before problems arise.
  • Reactive — in-the-moment: what to do when the challenging behaviour is actually happening.
  • SEL — Social and Emotional Learning: building the student's emotional skills.
  • PBIS — Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports: reinforcing positive behaviour systematically.
  • RP — Restorative Practices: repairing relationships and harm rather than just punishing.
  • NVC — Nonviolent Communication: a communication style that defuses conflict.

These are perspectives the system produces for you — you don't have to switch them on anywhere. They're also among the sections you can pick when you export a case to Word.

What's in each suggestion

For the Proactive and Reactive approaches, each suggested solution typically includes:

  • A short title and description (sometimes with a "Creative solution" badge, marking a more inventive idea).
  • A step-by-step Scenario — what to do, in order.
  • A Time plan — how it fits over time.
  • A Reason — the rationale behind it.
  • Indicators for successful behaviour — signs to watch for that tell you it's working.

The other framework tabs (SEL, PBIS, RP, NVC) present their own structured guidance in the same spirit.

Rate what's useful

Each section has its own Like / Dislike controls. Rating a suggestion opens a quick form with descriptive tags (such as Practical, Inspirational, Useful, or Impractical) so you can say why. Your feedback helps other educators see which approaches the community found most helpful.

When solutions aren't there yet

You may sometimes see a "Not generated" badge or a message that the case is still generating. That means the AI hasn't finished producing the suggestions for that case yet — check back shortly. Some content also requires you to be logged in; if you're signed out you'll see a prompt to log in to display the full solutions.

More formal plans

Alongside these approaches, the AI can also produce formal education plans (BIP, IEP, and PLPP). Those are covered on their own page.
